Somebody Cares and the Holy Smoke Grill Team traveled to the border town of Roma, Texas, for a community Thanksgiving meal. The team smoked 2,400 pounds of turkey that was served with all the fixings to 3,000 people at Roma High School.

“We are blessed to come here and serve this community,” said Mark Roye from SC San Antonio.

The event was hosted by the City of Roma and Bethel Mission Outreach Center. Earlier this year, Somebody Cares provided comfort bears for children and grants for local churches that are working along the Mexico border in other communities, and Doug Stringer ministered to leaders on multiple occasions.

“Thank you to Mark Roye of Somebody Cares San Antonio, Mike Lynch of Ally Force Ministries of Minneapolis, and Bob Ball of BloodNFire Muncie for representing the Somebody Cares network,” said Doug.

“We are blessed by pastors Luis Silva and Michelle Colston Silva and their passionate and tireless outreach through Bethel Mission Outreach, along with longtime friend Deana Hinson, for continuing to be a tangible expression of Christ!”

Thank you for caring!
