SCA responds as tornadoes sweep across Tennessee leaving devastation in their wake. As of this writing, 25 people are confirmed dead and at least 50 people are still missing. In Nashville alone, 40 buildings collapsed due to the winds. Rural communities also took a terrible punch. There are still widespread power outages, which hamper clean-up efforts.

But they are not alone!

Somebody Cares partner, CRI, arrived in East Nashville yesterday afternoon to assist with debris removal, provide hot meals to residents, and offer prayer and chaplaincy in the community.

Our Somebody Cares team arrived in Nashville this morning and is working with area churches to coordinate response efforts, as well as to identify unserved areas so we can provide hot meals starting tomorrow.

Somebody Cares comfort bears are also on the way to children who have suffered loss.
