Even as communities across Jamaica continue to recover from the devastation of Hurricane Melissa, our Somebody Cares Caribbean partners are on the ground bringing vital relief to families in need. Though our U.S. team had to postpone their trip due to a family emergency, our Caribbean team is faithfully pressing forward—delivering food, water, and emergency supplies to those hardest hit.
Our disaster response partner, CRI, is also hard at work in the Montego Bay area, helping clear debris and repair damaged roofs. In many cases, this means collecting roof tiles scattered across neighborhoods—sometimes far from their original homes—and painstakingly reattaching them so families can return to safe shelter.
We are preparing to send several containers filled with desperately needed aid for distribution throughout St. Elizabeth, Westmoreland, and other affected regions. Your prayers and generosity make this possible. Every gift helps bring hope, restoration, and the love of Christ to those rebuilding their lives after the storm.
Thank you for standing with us in compassion and action. Together, we are showing that Somebody Cares!
