Scriptures and Key Points on Heart issues:

  • Our heart needs to be made whole for God to use us.
  • Every life experience becomes a life lesson that can become part of a larger message.
  • We have a greater purpose than our situations.
  • God’s Word doesn’t change because of the things we go through.
  • We can’t allow our circumstances to dictate our response.
  • The heart of a community should be the church.
  • The Church needs to be united to reach the soul of the nation.
  • Keep your mind focused on the purposes of God.

Hebrews 13:8 NLT Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

  • We can turn our circumstances into opportunities for ministry.
  • God is allowing things to happen in the Church to expose issues of the heart.

Matthew 26:36-46 NKJV …Stay here and watch with Me….

  • Our hearts need to be open for God to do the work He wants to do.

Philippians 4:4-8 NKJV Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

John 14:1,6 NKJV Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me…Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Colossians 3:12-17 NKJV Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
