Massive rescue and relief efforts underway throughout Southwest Florida. Officials say Hurricane Ian could be the costliest storm in the state’s history. As of this morning, death toll reports continue to mount. Power remains out for countless residents. And, the islands of Sanibel and Captiva can only be reached by boat. Some areas are reeling from flooding, some from wind damage, and some from both.

Somebody Cares is sending truckloads of supplies for distribution and meeting unique needs created by Ian, like providing drinking water and protein bars to the hundreds of linemen–many from out of state–who are working on restoring power. Also, with the donation of multiple pallets of high quality meat, our grill team is supplying hot meals and working with a group of churches in Cape Coral to distribute supplies. And, our network has a 70,000 kw generator to provide power for our host church, empowering them to serve their community, as well.

Join us in praying for all those affected by Hurricane Ian and for all those responding to this tragedy.

The needs are great, and recovery will be a long process. Your donation of $50, $100, $500,or any amount will help us meet desperate needs.

Thank you for caring!
