As soon as word of the Mid-West Tornados hit the news yesterday, Somebody Cares was in contact with partner agencies to rally a response effort. Deadly tornados left a path of destruction through six states destroying homes and livelihoods.
Congressman Aaron Schock, of Illinois, says whole neighborhoods were leveled. The city of Washington, IL has called on medical assistance from nearby areas.
With winter weather already knocking at the door, and thousands of people now without homes, a quick and compassionate response are vital.
