- It’s not about personality, but about policy and principle.
- We need to be discerners of truth.
- The Holy Spirit gives us discernment.
- There’s a difference between being discerning and being judgmental.
- “Show me the truth so I’m not deceived and can bring redemption.”
- “I’m not beholden to the party of the donkey or the elephant, but to the party of the Lamb and the Lion.”
- Our first commitment is to biblical principles and the lordship of Jesus Christ.

One key to casting your vote: it’s not about the political party; it’s about the platform they are presenting.

- There is an assault on the Word of God, on God Himself, and on His people.
- Love the truth more than your own preferences.
- Our ideology should be based on God’s character, Word, nature, and Spirit.
- The Kingdom of God is built on relationships. First with God, then with one another.
- Love God with your whole heart, mind, soul, and body.
- Reflect Christ-likeness to others.
- We can display civility even in the midst of strong disagreements.

- Two biblical principles of life are the sacredness of marriage and the protection of our liberties and freedoms.
Another key to remember when voting: Choose Life!
- If we no longer value life in the womb, then we will no longer value life that is deemed less worthy to some.
- Better to have a heart awakening, than a rude awakening.
- No matter who becomes president, at the end of the day, Jesus is still King.
- How can we change the soul of a nation if we don’t start with the heart?
- The heart of the nation should be the Church.
- It takes a heart awakening in the Church to impact the soul of a nation.
- Three things that can hinder God’s blessing:
- Ritual or temple prostitution (example: Hophni and Phineas)
- The shedding of innocent blood
- Licentiousness or moral looseness (justifying our lusts of the eye, lust of the flesh, and pride of life)
- Private choices have public consequences.
- The devil is trying to get rid of the children because he knows there is a prophetic generation coming.
1 Corinthians 11:28-29 NKJV But let a man examine himself…
1 Corinthians 10 NKJV …But with most of them God was not well pleased…You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons.
- Are we honoring God when we vote?
- Faith is believing things you cannot see will come to pass. That is the Kingdom of God.
- Fear is believing things you cannot see will come to pass. That is the kingdom of darkness.
- It’s not about Pro-choice; it’s about the right to choose life.
Those who tell the story define the narrative and create the history.
Galatians 5:13 NKJV For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
Galatians 5:17 NKJV For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh…
- If we justify what our flesh wants, our liberty becomes a license that causes others to stumble.
- Leaders who fail often begin by justifying small compromises.

- Many people justify their sin by saying, “I’m free.”
Proverbs 27:20 NLT Just as Death and Destruction are never satisfied, so human desire is never satisfied.

- The ones that God wants to use the most are the ones the enemy wants to disrupt and distract the most.
- We should have proper, compassionate immigration laws, but we can’t have a wide open border.
- Things must be done in order.
- We’ve created a welfare mentality that has led to bondage.
- True freedom comes from the Lord.
Jeremiah 15:6 NASB You who have forsaken Me,” declares the Lord, “You keep going backward. So I will stretch out My hand against you and destroy you; I am tired of relenting!
- Like Noah, the Church has been reluctant to speak.
Psalm 106:37-38 NASB They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons, and shed innocent blood, The blood of their sons and their daughters whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; and the land was defiled with the blood.
Is our vote an attempt to justify our sin?
- We justify our sins wanting the benefits of the Kingdom, but not willing to let God be the Lord of our kingdom.
1 Peter 2:11 NASB Beloved, I urge you as foreigners and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts, which wage war against the soul.
- Follow the money.
- Take care of the poor. The Church does the majority of the care.
- The original “social justice” came from the Church, but the meaning of the term has changed.
- Helping all people in the name of Christ
- Which platform leaves you more protected in your biblical values?
- A revival will come no matter who the political leaders are.

- God is bringing revival and sometimes it comes through shaking.
- Leaders need to care about the people more than they care about themselves.
- Be Christ-centric first.
