Restoration continues in Hunt, Texas, as nine homes have been sheet-rocked and readied for paint. One home has had flooring installed, with cabinets and a new water heater delivered as well. Another truckload of building supplies was delivered in San Angelo for flood relief there, with three more headed that way next week.

“We are also still working to help people recover from Helene,” said SCA Vice President Jodie Chiricosta.

“This week, we helped fund the removal of a home in North Carolina that burned down during the storm,” she said, explaining: “The insurance company deemed the fire was caused by flooding so the family received no insurance money. Our partners in Arden/Asheville are doing what they can to help this family rebuild.”

From North Carolina to Texas, your generosity is restoring homes and rebuilding lives!

Thank you for caring!
