Doug and Lisa Stringer have just returned from Puerto Rico, where they met and strategized with local leaders for long-term recovery. The meeting was hosted by SC Puerto Rico facilitator Catacumba 5.

“We had a very significant gathering of NGOs, non-profit organizations, FEMA coordinators and regional directors, and church leaders at our Somebody Cares Puerto Rico center in Anasco, Puerto Rico this past Friday, February 16,” said Doug Stringer.

Over 14 organizations signed MOUs with Somebody Cares Puerto Rico for longer term relief collaboration.

It’s amazing, the resilience of so many people, but we need to come alongside them,” added Doug.

Thank you to all who have prayed for and partnered with Somebody Cares America/International as we continue to help in the aftermath of disasters.
