Our Somebody Cares network partner, CRI, is ministering alongside recovery teams as families wait for loved ones to be recovered from the rubble. The grief is difficult to put into words. Our teams are there to offer comfort, pray with those who are hurting, and point them to the only true source of hope—Jesus Christ. And they have had the joy of leading several people to Christ.
At the same time, our church partners in Venezuela continue serving thousands of nutritious meals each day to first responders and families who have lost their homes in the earthquakes. They are also providing water, groceries and other essentials. Through these local churches, practical help and the love of Christ are reaching people in their darkest moments.
Please continue to pray for the recovery efforts, for the responders and relief teams witnessing unimaginable tragedy, and for our ministry partners as they provide both physical assistance and spiritual care. The need remains great and the work is far from over.
If the Lord leads you, please prayerfully consider supporting the ongoing Somebody Cares network response as we continue bringing help, hope, and the love of Christ to those affected.
