Torrential rains in the early morning hours of July 4 caused rivers to overflow rapidly, leading to widespread devastation in various regions of Texas.

We urgently ask for your prayers for the communities of Kerrville, Hunt, Center Point, Comfort, and the surrounding areas in the Texas Hill Country that have been devastated by severe flash flooding along the Guadalupe River.

Tragically, this has already become a mass casualty event, with reports confirming multiple fatalities and others still missing.

We’ve been in communication with pastors, ministry leaders, and friends on the ground in that area, including Pastor Mike Cave, David and Cindy Danielson (Impact Christian Fellowship Kerrville), and others.

We are heartbroken and grieved to learn that young girls from a nearby camp have passed, while rescue teams continue to search for many others still unaccounted for.

Please join us in fervent prayer for:

  • Comfort and strength for the families of those who have tragically lost loved ones
  • Miraculous rescue and recovery of those still missing
  • Peace, protection, and wisdom for first responders, rescue teams, and ministry leaders
  • Provision for those who’ve lost homes, property, and security
  • The Church to rise in unity and compassion during this crisis
  • Safety for all as more rain is forecasted in the coming hours

Let’s stand together in the gap for our brothers and sisters in the Hill Country.

We believe God is near to the brokenhearted and able to bring hope in the midst of devastation.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)

In Christ’s love and compassion,
