| It was a wonderful day as we held our SOMEBODY still CARES Feast of Plenty in Ingram (Kerrville), Texas, on Saturday, November 22.
A special thank you to Mercury One for partnering with us by providing thousands of dollars of resources, including gift cards. We also thank our partners Burnt Offering BBQ, Dominion Church from League City, The Country Church from Cibolo, Sanctuary Church Kerrville, First Assembly Kerrville, Broken Yoke, local businesses, and all of our volunteers! Together we served nearly 500 plates of hot smoked turkey with all the fixins and desserts. We also had live music and gave away over 125 frozen turkeys with groceries for families to take home for Thanksgiving. “It was great to see so many from various parts of the community enjoying the time together, including many first responders and others who serve their communities,” said SCA Founder Doug Stringer. Thanks to each of you helped make this happen with your prayers and support! It’s the NET that WORKS!
