Nargiz Hajiyeva faithfully lives for the Lord in Azerbaijan, a place where living out your faith takes courage. She and so many others like her are shining lights in their communities, bringing hope, love, and the truth of God’s Word to people who desperately need it.

- Nargiz worshiped the Lord through tears and pain clinging to His promise.

- When people, especially those without Christ, experience that kind of love, it’s shocking.
- As Nargiz obeyed God to reach out and love, He gave her a forgiving heart and a life was changed.
- God has spoken to her in many ways through scripture, through prayers, through dreams and more.
1 Peter 5:6 NIV Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
- God healed her and gave her peace. She surrendered everything to Him and followed His way. And to this day, she sees how He continues to lead her.
- The Word of God is not far. He is very close and he’s very near.

Esther inspires Nargiz
- Esther’s obedience to God’s word and her devotion to the world deeply moves Nargiz.
- Because of her obedience and bravery, God used Esther to save her people from destruction. May we all walk in such faithfulness.
- No matter where we live or what we face, God is always close to us. And because of that, we can be a light in the darkness.
- Your life matters. Remember when we walk with Jesus, even the smallest act of love can shine brightly and point others to Him.
