Our Guest: Mary Frances West
Mary Frances West is a woman of faith, a community leader, motivational speaker, and founder of West Empowerment Solutions.
Her story is one of transformation, resilience, and purpose. After overcoming addiction more than 20 years ago, she has, with the help and grace of God, turned her experiences into a passion for helping others recognize that their past does not define their future.
Through community leadership, mentoring, ministry, and motivational speaking, Mary encourages others to overcome adversity, discover their God-given purpose, and move forward with confidence.
Her message is simple: “Walking on Purpose, in Purpose.”

- No one is beyond the reach of God.
- Our past does not have to determine our future.

- God comes into the wounded and the broken places of our hearts and begins His work of healing and restoration.

- Where we start or even where we find ourselves along the way doesn’t have to determine where we finish.
- We should never put a period where God is still writing the story.
- God is such a good God, even in our dysfunction, we don’t realize sometimes how blessed we are.
- After being baptized, Mary’s desires changed.
- “And Jesus said, ‘If you want to be kept, I’ll keep you.’ He said, ‘That was My blood that you felt.”

- “You have an apostolic calling.”
- Sometimes God delivers us instantly. But sometimes He does it like an onion peel. He peels up layers. Because He’s so kind and gentle.
- Mary walked into freedom over time.
- When God gives you a gift or a talent, He doesn’t take it away because of your behavior or somebody else’s.
- And as she has moved forward with the Lord, walking in obedience, the Lord has blessed her work life as well.
Mary learned that God blesses those who step out for righteousness and justice because that’s His heart.

- God is our provider.
- As He blesses us, we can bless others.
- He is walking with us through the process.
Judges 4-5 NIV Deborah’s Story (And Jael)
- Deborah was a woman of wisdom.
- She could speak life into people, but she was also a woman who walks with people.
- No matter what we go through or what we do God still loves us.
- He’s going to get His will done if we want Him to do it.
- When Mary made choices that took her down a destructive path, God pursued her.
2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
- God didn’t just deliver Mary from her old way of life, He began healing the wounds underneath it all.
- He taught her how to live differently.
- And then took her life that once seemed so broken and is using it to bring hope and help to others.
