Key Thoughts and Scriptures from Kim’s Story

Psalm 37:23 NLT The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.

Proverbs 15:3 KJV The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

  • God is a loving and wonderful Father who created all the joy and beauty we see around us.
  • The only things that God takes away from you are the things that you don’t need.

1 Timothy 6:17 NKJV Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.

  • God was faithful to answer the prayers of Kim’s father over her.
  • “You and I are a majority.”
  • “Harambe” means “let’s pull together.”
  • There are a lot of children who go to college with a God awareness.
  • It is essential that you connect with God for yourself.
  • When you have conversations that the Lord orchestrates, ears will be opened.

James 4:7 NKJV Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

“I didn’t know that I knew what I knew.”

  • You can take in a lot when you’re in the presence of a movement that allows the Spirit of the Lord to have free course.
  • No one is too young for God to start sowing truth into their heart.

Isaiah 55:11 NKJV So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

  • Parents need to continue to sow into their children.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NKJV Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

  • The Spirit of God is subject to the prophet. He will not make you act unseemingly.
  • When Kim was filled with the Holy Spirit, she felt that the Word of God was illuminated in her life and in her heart.
  • The Word of God was no longer words on a page but Life within her.
  • Her faith became “Super Charged Faith.”
  • God wants us to find our worth and value in Him.

When you don’t have the money, give of yourself. Give the best of your service.

2 Corinthians 5:7 NKJV For we walk by faith, not by sight.

  • “Have you once asked the Lord if that’s His Will for you?”
  • “God has graced me to stay here.”
  • “God wasn’t through, even then.”
  • “We’re going to pray before the plans are activated.”
  • God opened the door for Kim after she was content with where He had placed her.
  • Just settle in and let God’s will be done.

Psalm 84:10-11 NKJV For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

  • When Kim chose to sow into God’s Kingdom rather than her own ways, God’s favor led her to places she could not have gotten in her own strength.

Psalm 37:23 NLT The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.

Psalm 90:17 NIV May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.
